Holiday Greetings from The WG2E!!!

Happy Monday and Happy Holidays, WG2E-Land!!!

It’s just about time for the most magickal of nights, and it’s also the perfect time to let y’all know how much I luuuvvv hangin’ with each of you throughout the year!!!

Would y’all believe The WG2E will begin its 3rd year in January?! How cool is that?!

Nothin’ beats Writers Helping Writers Reach Readers!!! And that’s what it’s all about here at The WG2E!!!

And nothin’ beats the kind of community we’ve built here to share the love we all have for Epublishing.

So, as we each sit near our holiday trees, perhaps with some eggnog, and reflect on what the year has meant and where we’re headed next, know that I have my glass raised to each of you and am so thankful to be able to share your journeys.

Wishing you nothing but love and happiness this holiday season…and great book sales too! :-)

  6. Angela Brown says:

Merry Christmas! Discover the WG2E group has been very helpful. I get to learn so much from those willing to share their lessons learned on their self-publishing path. I know not what my future hold, but I know that opportunity is there for the taking. Now if I can just reach up on my tippy-toes to go for it lol!

    • D.D. Scott says:

We’re thrilled you’ve found us, Angela, and look forward to sharing in your Epublishing Journey for years to come!!!

And go ahead, reach on up there! We’ve got your back!!! :-)

  7. D.D. Scott says:

Just a Quick Note re our Sister Site – The RG2E:

Somehow, as of this morning, we’ve been spammed (and suspended) by WordPress because they think we’re selling products instead of giving them away. Anyhooo…I’m working on it with them. So, hopefully, we can resume our RG2E posting schedule as soon as they give us the “OK”.

Another learning curve even as we’re supposed to be relaxing over the holiday…LOL!!! :-) I’ll give it my best shot and see if I can convince them otherwise…

    • DD … I had a similar weird spat of somebody reporting me as a spammer on my FREE EBOOKS Google+ community … mind you now the only way to get updates from me is to SUBSCRIBE to the page and I’m wicked strict about only free ebook postings, no ads. Somebody took the time to go to the page and flag every single post as spam.

I’m wondering if it might be a deliberate attempt by someone in publishing to shut down sites such as ours? I’ve heard rumors of such things lately … several Tradi-Pub type folks grumbling that all self-published books stink and the government should make free ebook giveaways illegal? Just some perhaps-not-so-paranoid food for thought … this is book retailers biggest paper-book and e-book sales time of the year … a well-timed spam-and-suspend campaign would be a special forces type strike.

[that's something -I- would do to win if this were a legal case]

  8. Lois Lavrisa says:

And a happy New year to you too DD:)

  9. Happy holidays DD and all the wonderful people at the WG2E!

And thanks for all the little ‘gifts’ of knowledge y’all been dispensing over the course of the entire year :-)

  10. Right back atcha, D.D.! And thank you for all you share with us every day. I wouldn’t be selling as many books as I am right now if it weren’t for you and all the wisdom you’ve shared over the years at WG2E (can you tell I’m a big fan?)! The free part of my romantic comedy, Carpe DiEmily, is currently ranked #1 in Comic Fiction and has had over 2300 downloads in just a few days. Woo-hoo! Part two is selling between 15-20 copies a day after just one month of being released. Thank you, D.D., and thank you to all your wonderful peeps here at WG2E. It’s a wonderful support system that I couldn’t live without, and I’m truly grateful to be in the company of so many talented authors.

A very Merry Christmas to you all!
