“Think Pooh”…with the Superfab Jen Tucker and Pj Schott!

Happy Thursday, WG2E-Land!

Today, I’ve got one of those ideas you come across and just gotta share!!!

The Superfab Jen Tucker and Pj Schott had an A-mazing Blog Post yesterday about Success and Winnie The Pooh…and yeah, again, it was just one of those Aha Moments you simply must pass on.

Pj Schott on Winnie The Pooh and Success 101

I luuuvvved Pj’s philosophy of “Dream big and work with at least one net.”

That’s exactly what The WG2E is all about…in that, we are your “net”. We’re here for all you superfab Indie Epub Peeps every day. We share our journeys along each of our roads to Publishing Oz and serve as each other’s nets.

Thanks Bunches, Jen and Pj, for this wonderful little gem of a post!!!

I’m going to buy a Pooh for my office right now…

About Jen Tucker

I write women’s nonfiction and also children’s books. My most important roles in this life is that of Jesus freak, wife, mother, daughter, friend, and pizza consumer. Mostly in that order! Thanks for stopping by to spend time with me.

I love laughs with family & friends, bacon buffets, books that whisk me away, little things that make my children smile, NCAA sports, full glass of wine, and chocolate on demand (white chocolate not included).

About Pj Schott

Pj has lived in several U.S. port cities, Europe, Greece, and the Middle East.  A marketing professional, mystery writer, and futurist, Pj is known to those with whom she works as a problem-solver, an innovative thinker, a top-notch communicator, a visionary, and the soul of a group.  She is the owner of the Boston, Massachusetts based company Genius II.  Pj is the woman behind the new Facebook page, Survival for Blondes.  Make sure that you check it out, even if your only connection to our hair color hue is that you tell a fabulous blonde joke.  One of the many things that endears Pj to me, is her passion for women to take control of their health, wellness, and planning for anything that might come our way.

It’s Your Turn, WG2E-Land:  Tell us about your “nets”…and please provide links to them if available…

    Awesome post!

    • D.D. Scott says:

I just luuuvvved what Jen and Pj put together too, Jeanne!

We all need great “nets” in our lives…sometimes, we even have to be our own net and that works too!

There have been many times in my 10+ years along this writing-for-publication journey that the only person to catch me was ME, and I just had to suck it up and deal with it…in those moments, it becomes “How bad do you want those big dreams”.

  2. D.D. Scott says:

And if y’all would like to read Jen’s new LMAO memoir – THE DAY I WORE MY PANTIES INSIDE OUT, we’re Ebook Gifting it today on The RG2E!!!

C’mon over for your chance to win!!!

  3. Diana Layne says:

I have had my office decorated with Pooh figurines for years. Love me some Winnie The Pooh. :)

    • D.D. Scott says:

      Very cool, Diana!!!

And that reminds me too…I got your email and of course I’ll give you quotes for your article…be glad to.

Just send me the questions you want me to answer…

      Cheers to you!!!

  4. Adan Lerma says:

great post, thanks for the link d.d. ;-)

  5. Talli Roland says:

Jen and PJ are two of the liveliest, friendliest, and warmest women I’ve met on the web. They’re both super supportive and I’d love to meet them in person one day.

Off to check out the post now…

    • D.D. Scott says:

Speaking of which, Talli…I’m going to Killer Nashville this year in Nashville TN (August 23-26), which is a superfab Mystery Readers & Writers Conference…Pj just let me know last night that she is going too!!! WooHooo!!!

Who else of our superfab WG2E Peeps will be going?

And cheers to all our wonderful WG2E Peeps, like Jen and Pj, who, just like you said, Talli, are peeps we’d sooo luuuvvv to meet in person some day soon!!!

  6. Mitzi Flyte says:

Thanks for the wonderful post and a great reality check for all of us struggling with the day-to-day.

My big dream is to get my book out there (Indie pubbed, of course that’s why I’m here…) soon.
My net(s): my daughter, the love of my life (Morgan), my friends, and my animal companions – all who give me unconditional love and support (even the four-footed ones – writing this with one on my lap). Seeing the beauty of nature everyday also gives me hope for the world.

    • D.D. Scott says:

Now you’ve got some superfab nets, Mitzi!!!

Go, Girl, Go!!! And thanks sooo much for sharing them!!!

I luuuvvv that you added the four-footed variety too! Like you, I’m typing this with one in my lap and one at my feet!!!

  7. Sibel Hodge says:

I met PJ through you, DD, on Facebook and she is one of the nicest, most supportive women you’d ever like to meet! Great stuff :)

    • D. D. Scott says:

      Isn’t she though, Sibel?!

And I luuuvvv how we’ve all connected through each other…

We’re building the most superfab “net” ever, my friends!!!

  8. Julie Day says:

At home: my net is my mum.
On the web: you guys, here. I love the way we just support each other.
Writing life: the associations I belong to: RNA, SCBWI. (romance and children)

    • D.D. Scott says:

It is all about how we support each other here at The WG2E, Julie! I luuuvvv that too!

And it sounds like you have a few additional and just as wonderful nets too!!!

      Thanks for sharing!!!

  9. David Slegg says:

    Yay, PJ & Jen!

  10. Ditto on all the Pj praise! We met in D.D.’s Muse therapy, clicked, and Pj has just continued to amaze me.

    • D.D. Scott says:

Thanks for reminding me of that, Alicia!

I do luuuvvv how we’ve all created one heckuva creative kingdom via my Muse Therapy!

Speaking of which, I need to give us all a “Therapy” boost too, don’t I?

Time to check in and see how y’all are doin’ in Muse Therapy Land!!!

  11. Pooh is full of wisdom and so is PJ. Love this!
